Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City 0 Sheffield Wednesday 1 | Att: 14,149 | The EFL Championship

Are you serious about Fulton , what did he do, what did he create? Spent most of the time being anonymous and facing his own goal. Think we only had a Peart Harris header on target. Only player who looked to have anything about him was O'brien.

Yep, very serious. I watched him closely as I couldn’t believe he got the nod over Franco. He was fine for about 60 mins and then reverted to type. Not brilliant, but much better than he has been lately. He was far from the worst out there tonight.

We had one shot on target you maniac, we're the home team, this squad has cost millions..
I'm not disagreeing with you.....it's terrible.

What I am saying, we need to stay in this league and smaller crowds with poor atmosphere isn't going to help the team.

I get that fans are fed up and not willing to go, I fully understand it doesn't help the team unfortunately.

It's not going to change unfortunately with this board by the looks of it.

I am living in hope that we stay up this summer and they show a proactive approach with a well planned summer recruitment.......but it's been this way for the last few years so my hope is getting thinner.

It won’t change. They’ve been here months now and Coleman obviously for longer. We’ve not had a peep out of them regarding their plans and seen very little action from them. And the one thing Coleman made a big play of (‘overseeing the transfer window’) was a shitshow.

Pratley was a box to box midfielder who weighed in with his fair share of goals. To say Fulton is a box to box midfielder, is frankly, quite laughable.

I said he was more like his old self where he did get in the box. Which he did, several times. But just tonight, for 60 minutes. Nothing about him scoring lots of goals or anything else.

Tonight should have been a stinking ugly 0-0 but, as we almost always do, we found a way to gift wrap a winner to the opposition.

If anyone's still dying in a ditch because Darling isn't going to sign a new contract, I simply refer you back to tonight.

Absolutely fucking useless player, couldn't care less if he's going.

Fulton was good for 60mins what did he do for that statement to be made, the bloke was a embrassment pointing here, pointing there while O'Brien was working his butt off covering him & Eom who is do weak you can't believe it. If he wasn't going to play Franco play Cooper who will always fight gor the shirt.

That's a good question, I would say we could all ask ourselves the same question.

Crowds are falling but yet people want things to change, it won't change if people are just sitting in their homes rather than going to a game and letting their feelings known or even getting behind the team.

It's always easier to blame someone or something else.
You must be out of your mind.

We all know where the buck stops and we all know who is to blame.

If we want to stay in this division then we need to show the support to the team and really push the questions at the right time.

I will admit that things have certainly changed from the early 2000s for sure.

What are you talking about? The year we nearly went down, the atmosphere was toxic at times.

I remember half the crowd chanting "Fuck off Watkin" at him.

Obviously when things starting picking up and we played a bit better the crowd were great... But even then that was only really a game or two

I did say things were different then.

Crowds increased due to an appeal from the SWEP saying the club needs you in an attempt to get support for the team in a battle to stay in the football league. The crowds slowly increased despite the football being poor but we all knew that our support was important for the club and the whole city.

Our crowds jumped by about 2k around Christmas time that season going from about 3.5k to 5.5k, we then broke the 6k barrier a few times and went to over 9k for the last 2 games.

A jump of over 50% in the first original push in that season.

14,000 there according to BBC, Sheffield probably brought around 1500 didn’t they?

Exactly, I remember getting spanked at home by kidderminster. the crowd were chanting. "Can we join you over there!" to the kidderminster fans. barely 4000 people at the vetch. The last game against hull was a sell out because it was a must win.

I watched him closely first half and he spent most of his time running to positions where he couldn't receive the ball. I think he must've touched the ball about 5 times first half. he may well of been running box to box, but he never touched the ball.

The away end were singing sideways and backwards everywhere we go and we're fucking shit on numerous occasions at Bristol City.

If that doesn't send a message to the manager and the chairman, I'm not sure what will.
