I agree with all your points. I'm proud to say I've never bought one food item in the stadium since the first match in 2005 and never will buy any of that over-priced, greasy crap. Why people queue up to be ripped off remains a mystery to me. There are plenty of alternative food outlets of all kinds near the stadium, or have something to eat before leaving the house FFS.The drop in numbers isn't just associated with the results though.
Yes, they have been awful at times & the football has been soul destroying, but the overall matchday at the stadium is horrific.
The food & drink are expensive & generally crap.
The WIFI or phone signal inside the stadium is often non existent.
There's nothing outside or inside the ground to get peoples attention and make for a good match day experience and it costs a fortune to go.
So improving the performance on the pitch is obviously a priority, but they need to get their arse's in gear & work on the match day experience to get numbers back up.
