Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City 3 Blackburn Rovers 0 | Att: 13,788 | The EFL Championship

They include total season tickets. It’s tickets sold rather than attendance. There were obviously a large number of season ticket holders that stayed at home to watch Wales lose at rugby again…
So perhaps they should say tickets sold, attendance is actually how many people turn up for a particular performance.

Getting possibly needlessly petty here, but was MPH giving a bit of attitude to the fans again after he scored or did I read that wrong. He looked all serious and giving it the 'calm down' gestures? Is he a miserable c*nt or just really bad at celebrating goals?

Trying to work out how the official attendance today was given as 13,788. 👀
Iwan Roberts mentioned it on Radio Wales.
He said he’s not Suprised with the quality that’s been served up recently.
He also said we were outstanding today.

Perhaps he reads this site and has taken note of all the pelters he's been getting for his shyte performances, from yours truly included. Perhaps he can kick on now, and as someone said, actually look like a loanee from the Premier League.

Haven't felt an atmosphere like that for quite a while. A real pleasure to be there today.

Both Vipotnik and MPH had their best games in Swans shirts and every other player was at least twice as good as they have been recently with Key and Tymon the biggest improvers. If this continues, next week's game at PNE now looks winnable.

Don’t forget the Swedish fella. Could be one of the top 3 midfields in this league. All forward thinking class midfield players

Sadly I suspect that O'Brien might be a bit rich for us on a permanent basis. Hopefully we've got the lookouts for Franco Mk 2.

At least with Franco we have him on a 3+1 contract so we would be in an extremely strong position if someone came looking for him in the summer.

And lets be honest, another half dozen or so games from him like today and people WILL come sniffing around him.

I am worried you might be right about O'Brien, I hear he was hesitant to come here in the first place and he would have to take at least a 10-15k a week pay cut to be in our affordable range. Saying that though a player's mind can be changed fairly easily if he is getting regular game time and builds a strong connection with the fans and his team mates. Never say never and all that.

But even if we don't manage to retain him, Franco and Widell plus one other will be an extremely potent midfield for sure.
