• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I do love the comms on this link, sounds like we are being commentated on by Sir David Attenborough

3-0 a fine result against one of the form sides in the league.

We didn't really get going in the second half but we didn't have to with such a lead.
Congratulations to the boys for turning around a bit of a dip in form and results and also a late Christmas present for Lloyd with his first appearance for the club.

This really is looking like a break out season for Cullen.

Best performance under Williams? I can't think of any better right now.

What I liked most was the simplicity of it - football can be so simple when you do it right.

Ever since THAT game for Wales he has been a man possessed.

6 goals and 1 assist in 8 games.

We most certainly have the quality at his disposal. It's a massive shame he's letting us down, so often.

Take Willy out of the equation - Joey, Matty, Marge and Sheezy have got this, from so many perspectives.

KISS, Willy.

That’s as complete a first half performance since the famous WBA game, and Williams’ best half to date. Would like to see the first half possession stats, it must be at least 75% in our favour.

Don’t read anything into the second half, the difference in intensity was noticeable and I can understand this to a point, although I would have welcomed a fourth, just for comfort,

I am convinced this squad is better than mid table, we’ve got to sort this issue of under performing against the top six or seven. Losing every match is as much a tactics and mentality issue as it is player skill.

The players should be hauled in tomorrow and be shown the granular details of the offside rule 😉

Cabango - best game I've seen him play. His passing range was spot on all game.

We're still lacking quality in the final third from some players. Two incidents stood out for me. The first when Bianchini was put through into their area in the first half with only the keeper to beat. God knows what he was trying to do, but he ended up toe poking it into the keeper and falling on his arse, when a cooler striker would have slotted it.
The second incident was in the last few minutes, when Key put in a pacy cross from the right which appeared to be perfect for Vip to run onto and put a bullet header into the net. Instead he tried to jump up and bring it down on his toe at head height and ended up making a right hash of it. He doesn't like heading, does he?
