Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea vs Stoke | The EFL Championship

Get a grip. You are cringingly all over the shop and way out of touch right now.

Matty’s much maligned midfield (by the twper online fans) has driven us to:
  • Top 2 - possession
  • Top 2 - carries in final 1/3rd
  • Top 6 - touches in final 1/3rd
Our manager needs to pull his socks up, and get the very best out of our platform and talented assets in the final 1/3rd to kick on and deliver - selection, set-up, subs…..
Cullen has himself progressed to the same GPG stats as Piroe, into the 96th percentile. VIP is a latent monster. Eom and Ron can be explosive.

Manager is underperforming, massively. As per.
Sheez&Marge poised to step up……
Cloud cuckoo land.

If we had a decent striker we would smash the league this season.
Jason Scotland was I think
Ronald plays best on the left where he can cut inside and shoot.
Eom wants to play in the middle.
Bianchini wants to play on the right.
Cooper also wants to play through the middle but offers the least in an attacking sense.
Somebody is gonna get a hammering one day.

We're focusing on running metrics, data, and optimal output, instead of practicing f*cking crossing and finishing.. which Ronald and Eom are like two c*nts.. Vipotnik isn't a good footballer, neither is Cullen, but why do we insist on crossing the ball to Cullen more.. Williams genuinely believes he's Pep, Pep has never worked as a bus driver you raving simpleton, we're in the championship, the league is dog manure
You decry those who say Williams has one hand tied behind his back yet you thenvgovon to say that neither of our strikers are good footballers......how does that work then

yes we needed freshening up but not for that. Cullen is a menace and causes distraction and was an obvious sub but to bring on the most not threatening subs in the league was a manager error.
He hasn’t got much choice really. It’s not like he’s leaving a 20 goal a season striker and game changing midfielder on the bench. We’re struggling for quality in the starting 11, never mind the subs.

There is enough quality in that squad to beat Stoke and Bristol City at home. The fact we haven't should be a concern for everyone involved.

I struggle with this closing assessment.

We've been a mid-table side for the last 3 years, as have Stoke and Bristol City. There's a reason for that. All are average sides.

I agree it's disappointing we didn't beat them, because you always like to win your home games, but these mid-table clashes are toss-a-coin games most of the time. We're just as likely to go to their grounds and win or draw because they're as crap as us. I don't think we should be overly concerned.

Kinell Smurph, continuing to smash it - you’re so very spot on:

Williams needs to earn his crust and deliver, and optimise our final 1/3rd (no more psychobabble about how good he says he is at working with latent talents up top) - JFDI, and shed the dodgy slimy long brown Mac

We have some real gems in the final 1/3rd, which even some of our most challenged online beauts could get a tune out of.

You should be beating the teams you're competing against at home.
