• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

While we don't want to give our transfer position to the world, we're not even getting a reassuring PR statement.

That does leave thoughts that even if there are no internal disagreements going on, not everything is joined up with conflicting messages from RM to the media.
His change in the last few weeks seem to indicate that his working relationships aren't what he once thought.

Well there were statements about us being close to signings before the window opened. Think Winter said something like that. Now the latest is that we're nowhere near signing anyone. Either we were lied to, they were convinced that Obafemi etc were going early on or as has been suggested elsewhere the Americans have been messing up deals that were on the verge of completion. All of those are bad.

Silverstein only pipes up when things are going well. Remember that trust podcast when we were on that winning run? Nothing since.

I think Burnley will wait until towards the end of the window when we are desperate to sell Obafemi & then hit us with a low offer which the merrycans will most likely accept in a heartbeat.

It's not as if Burnley need a striker Asap is it, time is on their side.

Yes I'm not sure why Burnley want him at all really. They've already outgrown him.

A very cheap nice to have squad player is the only appeal I see.
