Missed the game last night and I might be wrong but I get the feeling that the win on Sunday succured our championship status and so the team are on the beach.

I think it's going to take something serious to shake Coleman out of his complacency. I think we are reaching a 'Petty' moment here. I'm talking about organising a boycott of matches.
The game last night was dreadful, 1 Peart Harris header on target all night. You could tell O'Brien was a newcomer to the team because as soon as he had the ball he looked to drive forward at pace. All the others have had the Luke Williams stamp imprinted in them, Slow ,turgid , boring , unexciting, walking football. Most people with any sense are not going to turn up on a cold night like yesterday to watch that garbage. Rows and rows of empty seats(season ticket holders) by me in the East stand last night.Glad more and more people are understanding that the way Williams is sending them out to play is a bigger issue for us than any of the players. It's Martin football without Piroe to dig him out of the messes it inevitably leads to.
Our squad isn't great but it's better than this. We have seen it do better than this in amongst the crap, another hallmark of the Russy style.
Williams needs to be gone and any trace of this shit blasted from the club, with fire.
Burton Albion away on a freezing cold February night should shake Coleman out of his complacency.I think it's going to take something serious to shake Coleman out of his complacency. I think we are reaching a 'Petty' moment here. I'm talking about organising a boycott of matches.
Maybe they need a visit to the beach. Potter was all for motivation. Though Williams couldn't motivate his own shadow.Missed the game last night and I might be wrong but I get the feeling that the win on Sunday succured our championship status and so the team are on the beach.

Freezing cold Potteries on Saturday be a good start.Burton Albion away on a freezing cold February night should shake Coleman out of his complacency.
My feet have only just thawed out from last night.Freezing cold Potteries on Saturday be a good start.
And it will be.
Peart - Harris can put good balls in too. Problem is his rest of the game is useless and we don't have VP attacking.O'Brien can put a decent cross in the box unlike other players
I was thinking earlier about this. There's been 4, what I would call, bad periods for the club in my history. This is possibly the worst for me. Why ???I think that's already quietly happening anyway mate. Just look at the increasingly empty blocks of seats.
I don't think we're in Petty territory just yet, but we're not far off. I wouldn't like to see what relegation would bring. We won't be far away from 'Pettyville' if that happens.
If this directed at what I said then I agree with you. As I said, they all had potential different outcomes....no more club x2/Conference. At the worst, this could be relegation to L1. So I don't mean it's the worst situation we've been in.Being in the second tier seemed pretty far fetched when I started going down the Vetch, so I can’t bring myself to call a bad season in the second year as the worst in terms of outcomes. I can say that watching us has never made my eyes bleed before. Not even Harry Gregg’s team. At least we could enjoy kicking the opposition into orbit, or trying to.
The football is totally unacceptable no matter what league we are in. Virtually unwatchable.
I wasn’t really responding to you, just musing on your theme. If this directed at what I said then I agree with you. As I said, they all had potential different outcomes....no more club x2/Conference. My point, and you allude to it, is the whole way this current campaign has been. Just utter drivel from top to bottom. I felt with the other 3 mentioned there was something there. Whether it was the players, the manager, the board, the passion. This year I feel nothing. The chairman is in the wrong business. The manager is in the wrong stratosphere. The players have no passion, effort, balls, skill (generally).
It's the worst I've witnessed the whole aura of our club.
I agree, I think being terrible in the 2nd division is better than being bad in the bottom league.Being in the second tier seemed pretty far fetched when I started going down the Vetch, so I can’t bring myself to call a bad season in the second tier as the worst in terms of outcomes. I can say that watching us has never made my eyes bleed before. Not even Harry Gregg’s team. At least we could enjoy kicking the opposition into orbit, or trying to.
