Just when we needed best leaders possible, we just had people taking advantage to line their pockets and stick 2 fingers up to the elderly. For me, that's how ill remember it.

I knew it was all BS back before anyone, remember my post, April 2021, Return to Sender, and you laughed at me, well guess what you are not laughing now, isn't it funny everyone was hell bent on taking the vaccine to save their freedoms.

And now, from what I can see, since Covid has more or less gone, it seems the consensus is, I am not taking anymore, I was vilified over my stance over this, even by members of close family, and yet now they say no to it..


Edit: Just to add, there are so many things wrong, what went on over covid, it really doesn't bare thinking about,, although the main one for me is, elderly people stuck in care homes, not getting a visit from their loved ones, a parent passes away, only a certain amount of people allowed to attend, Is the inquiry really into this really good enough, the way it's going? It's just a whitewash, no one will be ever held accountable, apparently from what I have read, it's to prevent mistakes happening in a future pandemic? Personally I think it's rubbish, look at We do things things different in Wales Dripford, no accountability for their decisions..

It's a joke, until we stop them getting away with it, they will keep on doing it.

Sj, It is an entirely honest observation from myself from what i have said, what I am saying is, it seems everyone I know that was full on for taking the vaccines, and now not.. Like even my missis, she has had the vax, she was worse off her boosters than catching covid.

Thank you Sj, I think this is one thing regrading Covid, that's it all about opinions. Although I say that, I know it shouldn't be like that, it has affected so many people, one of my family got done for some stupid gathering rule, just a fine.. I was even thinking about that fine today, how the ferk, could it have been breaking the law.. Is it mandatory to keep up with the latest covid rules at that time? Think it was only 40 quid, I won't go into details of it, but honest at the time, it was absolutely ridiculous..

We just wanted to get it over with, paid the fine and move on.. But I know inside me, that is not legal, to enforce that would it be a duty of every person in the UK to keep up with changes and tiers in Wales.. basically ripped us off.

The biggest thing that hasn't been discussed is how the health of the nation impacts on how it copes with such Illnesses. People should be encouraged and incentivised to be active and to eat well.

I still struggle to understand why in Wales we think we nailed it.

The legacy of very harsh lockdowns and anti business measures is there for all to see now.

How can we quantify the amount of people who have died as a result of long waits since covid? I’m not saying I didn’t agree with a form of lockdown but my word the way Drakeford was lauded bemused me.

School truancy is at record levels, with the gap between rich and poor inevitably widening.

But hey ho who needs a Welsh covid enquiry. We’re UK when it suits.

The idea that Wales, England and Scotland can have different policies on lockdown to produce different results on Covid is nonsense. We have open borders between countries in Great Britain so, given time, the outcomes will be much the same with slight regional variations depending on the demographic make up of those regions. We should have had a uniform approach across Great Britain but the Covid inquiry has shown the Johnson wasn’t interested.

On vaccinations, I have had 8 Covid jabs so far because I am severely immunosuppressed. If I had caught Covid before I had been vaccinated I would almost certainly have died. Every vaccination makes me ill because the vaccine wakes up my immune system that is suppressed for good reason. My immune system attacks my body and has come close to killing me twice in the past. It's a price worth paying to be vaccinated in my case.
