• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Or is having "military" themed shows a bit too much?

If he was left on there, the show would be slated on twitter every time it was shown. Bad publicity for Ch 4. Easier just to boot him out.

It's a world that should remain a bit to itself. Many of Joe public won't understand the methods and training adopted.

No idea of the background, it's not the sort of crap I'd watch. But as a rule of thumb if someone starts bleating about the "woke" they tend to be a c*nt.

He's risen to a "celebrity" status that many people in the services and ex-servicemen don't like.

An ex -marine mate of mine said that he looks as if he's trying to make out he's hard all the time, there's no fucking need to act like that.

I've got no opinion of Middleton but I know he's sold a lot of his book that a few work colleagues have enjoyed.

why did they do that?

Causing trouble I assume, I'm not his biographer by the way

the coppers could have been knobs though, throwing their yellow vested weight around with the wrong person. Anyway, I don't know who he is.
