Summer Transfer Window

Shankland;s name appeared on here a while back, and my immediate response was pretty nuetral. But having seen his goals in the season before last I would be very much in favour:

The variety of absolutely top notch finishes are pretty astonishing. I suppose it's easy to make the lazy assumption that because the Scottish Premier is of hugely variable quality that there's nothing to see there. That video suggests otherwise.

We’ve been linked to him for years.

I know, but I doubt he had a highlights reel like that back in the day when we were linked. Part of the reason he struggled for goals last season was because he was used as a midfielder. When he was restored to his preferred number 9 position he started scoring again. West Brom are supposedly after him along with Saudi teams. Due to make a decision soon.

If the DMs available on a free, according to Transfermarkt, there is one that stands out - David Ayala, 22 year old Argentinian playing for Portland Timbers in the MLS. Having an outstanding season. Given that he's currently playing for them Transfermarkt may have got things wrong contract wise. But if he has little left on his contract he would fit the player trading model for sure. Argentinian U20 international.

Although it's easy to be sniffy about the MLS, I read an article recently showing that they've made massive strides recently in terms of physical intensity, moving ahead of some of the European big 5 leagues.

Not from a reliable source, but just been told by someone who thinks they are ITK, Alfie Gilchrist.

22, can play centre half or right back.
He did play 30 games for Sheff Utd last season though so unless his contract is coming up I don't see this one happening imo

Like I said, not come from any sort of reliable person, but I know people like a random name on this thread 🤣

Contract is up at the end of the month. Still if he were going to come to a championship club you would have thought it would be Sheffield.

Saw on Twitter earlier from Fabrizio Romano that he’s leaving Chelsea, would be a good pick up, probably need to start though
