I really can't see us making a Wow signing, unless McBurnie is considered a Wow signing, which I don't. I would be very pleased if we signed him and O'Brien, but neither come into the Wow bracket. Inoussa was an excellent signing based on highlight reels and stats, but none of us had heard of him before he was announced. So again, not a Wow signing.

It would have to be top level player, who everyone knows about, signed on a free, such as Vardy. I just can't see us wanting him, or a player with a similar profile.

Obafemi and Borja Baston are both available on frees. Now either would definitely be a Wow signing...

Innoussa will only be wow signing if he makes an impact in the Championship. At least with LOB and McBurnie you know what they offer this league

I was just about going to post about Jovic. Of the outstanding strikers available on a free only Jovic (27 and a Serbia international) and Shankland (29) could be of interest and, at a push, come into the Wow category.

One outstanding season back in 2018/19, and mediocre ever since. I would prefer Shankland of the two.
