Summer Transfer Window

Good mate of mine is a Orient fan, really rates him and says he is technically brilliant. Says he can be a bit lightweight at times though. Midfield 3 of Franco, Widell and Galbraith with Eom/Ronald and Inoussa out wide is and exciting prospect though!

They rubbished Coleman breaking this only to then pretend it was their exclusive. Keith has some good sources but it's embarrassing how he acts at times.
As long as we get to the point where a player is holding the shirt, I don't really care who claims to have broken the story tbh. If several accounts are all corroborating the same story, does it really matter?

This would be a great signing, as he is a really gifted footballer AND has something we lack a bit of - positional flexibility. If he can pressure Key at RB as well as adding depth to our central midfield that will be FANTASTIC.
I asked Leon Britton if Galbraith had the physical stature to play in the championship and higher - he said that midgets have no chance no matter how talented they are!

from wiki, sounds like he might be good, havent seen him play tho, but seems like the fee wanted is a no go currently

Northern Ireland manager Ian Baraclough described Galbraith as the country's version of Spanish international midfielders Xavi and Andrés Iniesta. Neil Wood has described him as technically gifted, and as a player who "can pick a pass and has all the different varieties of delivery".

No it doesn't. The willy waving about exclusives and sources is tiresome and a little pathetic at times.

No, it doesn't, which makes their constant "ooo look how good we are" ever the more grating.

Galbraith a big yes for me
Don't think he's a double pivot partner for Franco though
I think we need a bigger unit for a 6, maybe Stamenic
Galbraith might then alternate with Widdell, or as RWB with Key
Good skills

i've watched him a couple of times being based in London, and actually been surprised how little he's pushed off the ball despite his slight stature. He doesn't shy away from the physical part of the game whatsoever

I'm not going to fall into the 'too small' trap here on a single player, but if we ended up with Widdell, Franco and Galbraith in midfield, you could probably add them all together and just about get to the same physical stature of a typical Championship central midfielder...

We've seen that Franco plays like a warrior and competes above his size, and I've no reason to doubt the tenacity of the other 2, but in terms of physical presence it'd be like playing your u-18s in midfield.

Widell is listed as 5' 11" in most places I've looked so he's not tiny. Galbraith and Franco around the 5' 9" mark. I wouldn't be overly concerned by a midfield comprising the three. Hopefully we'll be playing the ball around the opposing giants so quickly that it won't matter anyway.

If we were playing more of a technical style then I’d say we’d be fine with those three, but looking at the way we’re wanting to play it would probably be a good idea to have more of a physical presence in midfield
