It's that time of year coming up shortly..

I've watched so much football this last year.. and two players have stood out that I've watched.. I told us to sign Antoine Griezmann whilst at Real Sociedad, Leigh Griffiths whilst playing for Livingston, Salah whilst playing for Basel, De Bruyne whilst playing for Genk, and Leon Bailey whilst playing for Genk.. also Natasic who ended up at Man City and Jonathan Tah whilst at Hamburg all on this forum..

And who's next on my footballer that has the potential for great things.. Malick Fofana for Lyon is the best youngster I've seen this year.. but if the Swans want to sign someone realistic.. Noah Weisshaupt, he's technically superb, his stats are not great, but he's got that raw talent, that Leon Bailey had, he's got guile and he's a good watch

We should be looking at Hein at Metz, outstanding midfielder in the style of O'Brien.
Good spot. Excellent stats, especially attacking ones. Trouble is, he turns 29 in August, so doesn't fit the player trading model. Perhaps we may make the odd exception.

I really hope it's a good one.

It's another 'big rebuild' as it seems to be most years, and we can't afford (literally) another balls up as we have seen in recent years.

Based on targets in the winter window there's a good chance we will sign Ethan Galbraith from Orient on a free (albeit the club has a 1 year option), likewise Low from Wycombe and Kyprianou from Peterborough. I wonder if we might be interested in signing Spurs' Jamie Donley on loan, given he's had an excellent loan spell with Orient. 8 goals and 9 assists as a 10 mainly. Has excellent defensive stats, so would suit our high intensity pressing out of possession.

My first shout out is Aaron Ramsey. I hear he might go on the cheap now that Cardiff are relegated 😂😂😂. Sorry I had too.

Looks a cultured player, with an aggressive edge. A possible successor to O'Brien?
I love YouTube highlights. I'm thinking of doing a Jay Fulton one. And help get rid of him. YouTube video are proberly the worse thing to judge a player. That's not a pop at you. Just my thoughts on these vids. To be fair this player could do the job 👍👍👍

YouTube highlight reels give an indication of what a player's ceiling is. I've seen plenty of unimpressive ones down the years. In Donley's case his highlights reel reinforce the picture painted by his stats. His 9 assists and 57 chances created are both best in league, so clearly a creative player. His 8 goals are double his expected goals tally, so clearly clinical.

Orient just been taking over by an American group. I wonder if that will hinder our plans of getting DG, especially if they go up

Add Ryan Hardie, Plymouth this window summer 2025
Yates 335 minutes per goal
Liam Cullen 299
Vipotnik 288
Ryan Hardie 218 in a relegation team
6ft 2, in last year of contract. Transfermkt value 1.5m euros
so should be able to get him for under a mill
Strikers around 200 mins per goal are near on 20 a season strikers

Hope we get Low & Kyprianou. Think good chance. Kyp out of contract. Low will want out if Wycombe dont make it. Galbraith good addition too. All 3 we missed in January.
