Summer Transfer Window

I am finishing this season in a WAY more optimistic mood than for some time..But I have a question (that I honestly don't know the answer to) which will play a big part in determining our future success..
How good are other leagues?
In the past week I have seen a highlight reel for young Wales and highlights today of Kuharevych in action (and scoring a very good goal). Is the top division in Scotland a good indicator or comparison with the Championship, outside of the Old Firm??
Widdell plays in the Danish league and the new Zidane in Sweden - are those leagues close to the championship, or one rung up from a pub league? Are Red Bull Salzberg crap - or do they give you wings?
Highlight reels can be a tease - so I am interested in other posters more informed insights into which leagues make sense for us to pluck the next round of Swans legends from!

I'm not saying that Franco is 100% staying, but certainly not reading into a fairly innocuous message from someone in their second language to assume he's gone. Maybe I'm just manifesting!?

Love seeing these threads so calm and optimistic; this time next month could be complete anarchy

Picks for CB
1. Joe Low - Free
2. Kyprianou - Hold M/F Center Half

3. Matty Pearson - experience, 31, Huddersfield scores 5 per season, 6ft 2, on a Free
4. Tyler Bindon - Reading, 20, on loan from Forest, 15 caps already for New Zealand (Loan)
5. Emmanuel Fernandez - Peterboro, 23, 5 goals, breakout season this season, 6ft 4

That's if we are shopping in League 1. Sounds like we may be aiming higher with new board.

Hah. I picked 3 CH in League 1 for us. One experience, one loan, and one coming through. Last being ideally what we need. I picked out Fernandez at Peterboro. Swans Indy article today on Darling highlight an analysts pick, and, its Fernandez.

Even if Darling stays with Christie, Naughton and Delcroix gone we need to sing a CH anyway.

We should be all in on Fernandez and Kyprianou this week. No need to wait for arry decision to get the 1st CH in

Emmanuel Fernandez - Peterboro, 23, 5 goals in 30 appearances, breakout season this season, 6ft 4

Joe Low and Emmanuel Fernandez would be the two I would look at the closest

No Old Firm anymore, the last one was 2012.

We’ve been linked to a young midfielder from QPR Lorent Talla
Looks like QPR were looking to loan him to National League or League 1 in January so doesnt look ready for primetime. Only has 5 or 6 appearances for QPR. 19 with 1 year left on contract I suspect this is a fishing expedition story from his agent

Also

"Talla’s appearance numbers for the R’s have been hampered by his long-term injury suffered two years ago, which has stalled his career."

and

However, injuries have hampered his development at QPR and limited Talla to just one first-team appearance, coming in the 3-2 FA Cup defeat against Bournemouth last term.

Yeah this definitely sounds like agent talk to me

Charlie savage worth a look at for midfield? Welsh and with a good output last season, 20 g/a across all competitions

You're all suggesting players you haven't watched.. maybe twice or 3 times a season.. unless you actively watch Peterborough games every week on Sky Sports+.. which is unlikely, my suggestions are from about 10 games a season or even more
