In a few years’ time I will have pretty much forgotten he played for us. Also genuinely.

A few posters were discussing a player that played for us fairly recently, not only had I not heard of him, I still couldn’t place him after reading about him. A centre back he was as well I think. I’ve forgot his name again 🙈🤣

I’m forever saying ‘I’d forgotten about him’ when discussing teams from just a few years ago.

Darling will, I suspect, fall into that category.

Funnily enough, the players that are absolutely dire are always memorable…

Looking like we could have just 2 English players and 2 Welsh in our best 11 the rest from overseas. That is a big shift from recent seasons

Not really bothered about the departure of Harry Darling, my thoughts he never really lived up to the expectations following his arrival from MK Dons.

He was decent but by no means a stand out performer and the bottom line is that he should be quite easily replaced (most likely already done so by Burgess).

If he had stayed then great, but his biggest trait was just how much of a threat he was in the oppositions box. By all accounts Burgess and Santos are also real units and can pose plenty of danger at set pieces.

Looks like Norwich has signed him. He comes he goes, we move on and I'm happy with our clubs pro active approach.

Well he was right on the Hardie one to Wrexham…
Surprised that Wrexham have made such a mediocre signing. 3 of his 10 league goals were penalties, and his all round game is very limited. They would have been better going after Yates. Perhaps he's a squad signing, but if I were a Wrexham fan I'd be very underwhelmed.

Not really a Wow signing but it wouldn't surprise me at all if McBurnie were to return. His work ethic would really suit our high pressing approach, and he would add much needed aerial threat. He would obviously be motivated and wouldn't need much time to settle in.

Only us are allowed to make wow signings apparently

Darling was alright. Bang average. His main skill was diving like a big Jessie when not touched running towards his own dead ball line. Mid table championship defender. That farewell note makes me puke. Bit part nobody, nothing to us, just STFU and fark off. Hope he cost Narch a fortune.

We know as well that there are more signings to come. There are increasingly strong rumours of a “blow your mind” signing that is believed to be a striker but the club keeps their cards close to their chest on that one (rightfully so) and Modric will be involved in the middle of that particular discussion so we await with interest what comes from that and to see if it really will “blow our minds”

Endrick coming in to follow in the footsteps of his childhood hero, Alan Curtis.
