Summer Transfer Window

I suspect Vips time will bear similarities
More of a striker there with Vip and he is younger. If rumours are to be believed, Myko's attitude off the pitch was at times problematic which would never do you any favours in terms of selection etc either. We haven't heard the same about Vip, fingers crossed

The total price for Sinclair including add ons and bonuses exceeded £1m I think, but in terms of spending more than that in one go it was probably Danny Graham.

Remarkable bid for a League One player from another League One club. With Huddersfield pushing the boat out, and Plymouth and Luton being strong candidates for an immediate return to the Championship, Cardiff have their work cut out.

It Is Nixon though so who knows if it’s true. Still waiting for Ethan Erhahon to sign for us, was close according to him…

So Sinclair was the first player whose total transfer package hit £1m, while Graham was the first signing whose initial purchase price exceeded £1m.

I forgot we signed Graham so early that summer (7th June) and what a good deal that turned out to be. 21 goals in 62 games and we made a profit on him when we sold him.

It's interesting looking at the progression of our club record signings. Graham to Ki to Bony is a good list. Unfortunately the next 3 were Baston, Clucas and Ayew. Ouch.

Can't help but feel for NTJ; poor bloke never got a kick of the ball. Aware we don't seeing him in training, but he looked bright enough in pre-season and the Carabao; considering we have 0 left backs other than Tymon, thought he might have got a bit of a run in at some point last season

Any thoughts on Rhian Brewster? Probably had his best season last season since his half season with us. Not that that says much, managing 4 goals and 3 assists in 42 appearances. The fact he managed so many games for a team that just missed out in promotion suggests he can't have been that bad. Only recently turned 25, so still young, and available on a free. His stats are mediocre, but we know first hand he has a high ceiling.

A few departures would have to happen before we considered signing him, and the video analysis would have to be very favourable. Not likely, but worth exploring at least.

Saw him play for our 21s a number of times
No better than a number of others and well behind players like Lissah and Lloyd
Colossal mistake by Watson
