We've done what looks like some excellent work in the transfer market so far and yet some still want to be convinced that we're making offers all over the place that are being rejected and that anyone we sign in the next few weeks will be our tenth choice/panic buy.

It's normal for clubs especially ones like ours to not get their 1st, 2nd or even 4th choice.
It's not about being convinced, it's the reality in most cases.
It's nothing to get annoyed or even defensive about.

In fact it should be applauded that the club have actually set out a shortlist of players, it shows good planning and hard work and forward thinking.

Indeed. It went awfully quiet on here after we beat Sheffield United, now it's hotting up again with predictions of doom and criticism of the management. At least Sheehan is not getting any flak. For now.

I don't know where I got this from, but I was under the impression that the striker we were supposedly close to was a permanent transfer?
This one looks like a loan offer?
No doubt Swans Indy will be along shortly to debunk it.

Wasn't there a suggestion we were after 2 forwards? If so, Gordon could be the second option alongside a permanent signing. Given his lack of impact in the Championship last season, I'd be very surprised if Gordon would be a starting player if signed.

Originally I think Keith said that it was a loan with an option to buy, but more recently I think a straightforward purchase
