I like using cash, I like to know where I am with a cash, I like to budget myself and I like to be able to see what I’m spending. I have other reasons too. The advancement of technology doesn’t mean we have to give up the things we currently do.

If a mate wants something off me they hand me the cash. I’m not going to start f*ck*ng about with bank transfers to purchase a mate a hot chocolate and a mars. I want the cash there and then. Otherwise I don’t know where I am.

Exactly we are never truly in control of our own money. Children will not understand the real value of money. Why should I have to use electronic currency? Tapping a card to purchase something is no way to educate children on the true value of money.
