I take from that he is indicating he has learned personally. If he is suggesting he has learned professionally then we won't know until he is in his next job.

Interesting he said that Coleman was sacked!
Looks like the source of the eventual end was the takeover with the new owners who didn't want him and then Williams clearly downed tools and this being the case should have been dealt with better with the new owners just getting shot as soon as they came in.

I can say that atleast we now have a board and staff that are all pulling in the same direction which is paramount as a club to move forward.

I think people will read the article and see things very different but reading it and taking a second to process has really highlighted the finer detail for me.

Onwards and upwards now.

Coleman was sacked because football is a results driven business both on and off the pitch and he failed spectacularly to deliver the off field results that would have helped drive on field results. The power struggle between Coleman and the old owners was an open secret and was there for all to see.

Very few could argue that Williams was fortunate to even still be in a job at the start of February when his side went an entire month (and six games) without scoring a single goal over the entirety of October before publicly putting himself in contention for the West Brom job at the start of January and then overseeing a catastrophic run of 7 losses in 9 which took us from flirting with the playoffs to flirting with the relegation battle.

What he said was all nonsense wrapped up in half truths to make himself look better for the next job that might come his way. Summer is now approaching for the EFL clubs and that means managers will get hired and fired, the timing of the article is no coincidence.

Every individual will have their own side of the story and that's just human nature.
For me, it's a line now drawn in the sand and we move forward and support and get behind the new guy.

One thing that I take from it all, club should have acted as soon as the takeover was done and this is something I hope the owners have learned. The writing was in the wall from day 1 and if it's not the person you want then don't let it drag on as it can rot things out to a fat bigger scale.

Do I think they have learned from it.....I believe they have.
