• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Given the service they did for the supporters theres no reason why they shouldnt have had that to be honest. Especially given some of the freebies the Trust board like to take for doing pretty much the square root of sod all
The past few weeks have summed up the trust at the moment.

Put on a supporters event that was not accessible and was only moved when enough people kicked up a fuss. And have ‘noted’ the club aren’t laying on buses and will investigate why not and get back to people.

Finger as far away from the pulse as it’s possible to be.

Are they still hiring coaches from a Bristol based company..?

That is madness right there !

There is an election coming up if someone else wants to kick them out and stand in the firing line :D

Yeah I don’t get that, but might’ve read or heard that some South Wales operators won’t touch the swans, because of unruly behaviour of some fans on the coaches. I could be wrong though.

Ugo never went back to running the official coaches after Covid unfortunately.
People used to take the p.. about the pop & crisps trips but they worked really well & there was no trouble on any of the occasional trips we went on.
Post Covid we went to an evening game against Fulham. The coach was run by National Express, the drivers didn't give a sh1t & the behaviour of some of our younger 'fans' was a disgrace.
