Surprised to see we've only met them once in the FA Cup, back in '91 at the Vetch where oddly enough we played them again 3 days later, this time in the Autoglass Trophy. We won the first and drew the second. Any stories from these couple of games? Did the FA Cup pull a bigger crowd than the mid-week Autoglass game or were they both a sell-out?

Also our record over the last 12 years is impressive; 6 wins, 3 losses and 3 draws. In fact, conveniently ignore the Welsh Cup results and our overall record over them is superior across the board

If you look at the English competitions individually, we have more wins than them in every single one. But they still think they are superior..

Hopefully we can over take the amount of wins including Welsh cups one day.

The 91 FA Cup game was nuts. Cooper's dad was the ref and we went one-nil down only to come back and win. Majestic scenes. The game was delayed with some fierce fisticuffs in the centre stand. It was a fantastic derby atmosphere in the ground - one that has only been reached a few times since. Gilligans Knee slide is etched forever in the memory another day when we took the upper hand. Apart from Welsh Cup wins we've been the dominant force when it matters.

Go on youtube and have a look at those fixtures.

Off the field was, interesting to say the least.

That FA Cup tie was one for the ages.

I remember that game - I hadnt long moved away from Swansea and sulked for days that I couldn't get back to watch it.

By days I probably mean a few hours but in true passing of time I have to exaggerate

By the Brangwyn Hall was better but you lot tend to have short memories of that.

The FA Cup match was a bizarre one for me.

I was in university in Englandshire and one of my best mates on the course was from Cardiff.

We travelled to Swansea together, picked up a couple of his mates along the way and met up with some of mine at the Cross keys. Remember very little of the game other than it being cold and wet.

After the match we went to some student party in Hendrefoelan as my Cardiff mate knew some guys at Swansea Uni. Spent the night in some girls student flat. Traveled back to Uni together with my mate the next day

We played an amazing 14 cup games that season, 4 in the Rumbelows cup when the first two rounds were 2 legs. We beat spurs 1-0 at home in front of 11416, losing 2-0 away.

We played Cardiff three times at home 2-1 in fa cup 9315, 0-0 in auto glass 2955, 0-1 in welsh cup 7303.

We lost 5-1 away in the 2nd leg at Spurs. Just saying ;)

Shaun Chapple scored. My one and only visit to White Hart Lane.

I was at the FA Cup game. Crazy scenes! I was watching the action with us attacking and the turds started cheering wildly, to my confusion. I turned my head to see that it was going off in the main stand. Hard bastards, the turds, invading the main stand with its codgers.

After the game we made our way back to the car, which was parked at the top of the NCP on the Kingsway. Got to the top, heard a commotion, looked over the edge and hundreds of Jacks and Basseys are kicking off again, with riot vans coming from all directions. Eventually it quietened down but later we hear another commotion and loud bangs - the rozzers had put the Basseys on double decker buses to take them back to the station (presumably) and the Jacks were bricking the buses. Then the Basseys started ripping the seats out and chucking them at the Jacks. Never seen anything like it before or since. Quite exhilarating for a 16 yr old safe at the top of the NCP!

I remember hearing about a police report at the end of that season saying there had been only two instances of Grade A (I think they called it) crowd violence that season. One was that game and bizarrely the other was the same day, same competition between Darlington and Hartlepool fans!

Great clip. Even greater happy memories of the Centre Stand and the Harry Griffiths Bar afterwards!

That's me, jumping around celebrating the winner in the Centre Stand in jeans and black jumper. (46 seconds left)

For me it was one of the best days in the Centre Stand when the 'Naughty Forty' were in there to take on the blooooturd threat!

God, I was a devilishly handsome bugger in those days eh Lorraine?
