Was the only sustainable course of action to take whether people like it or not.

As for future sales that are being predicted, I'd imagine that depends on our wage bill going forward. We seem to have shaken off almost all of the highest earners bar Ayew, so the need to sell will be somewhat lesser than in previous summers.

Remains to be seen what kind of shape we're in post-Covid, bit overall the situation seems to be about as good as can be expected.

A lot of clubs are way over-extended financially. By default we may end up in a stronger position than many.

Sadly I think they would sell more than they buy even if we do go up (in terms of net cash)!

Reading wages to turnover is 211%!

We are basically not far away from being back to square one, I feel (pre-premier league, circa 2010), which can be good or bad depending on how you look at it.
