West Ham sacked Potter and had Nuno installed in 48 hours.
For any good quality business , succession planning starts immediately on the appointment of the new person in post. This is normal good quality business planning. It’s even more important in football as the time in role is so short. I’m sure Adam Worth will have an extensive list of managerial candidates that are favoured by Swansea.
They will already know key criteria, stats including length of contracts etc. (likely compensation)
They should have a top 3 list with hellberg at the top. They should also have kept number 2&3 warm in case something go’s wrong with hellberg - I’m sure they were aware he was talking to other clubs with likely more financial clout which is why we moved so quickly to get it over the line.
I’m guessing they’re now advancing number 2 &3 from this morning.
There’s no way anyone is going to be in place for the Bristol game as these negotiations take a long time. I also think it is unlikely we’ll have in manager in place for the following 2 games , derby and WBA.
It is important that the swans get this appointment right and we all need to show some patience - easily said but very hard in practice.
West Ham sacked Potter and had Nuno in place in 48 hours. Forest got Dyche in place within 4 days. Well organised clubs get the job done.

Both Nuno and dyche were number 1 targets , if they hadn’t got them over the line and had to work on number 2 it would have taken longer.
And before you say , Forest and Everton are much bigger clubs so we always run the risk of a bigger club (boro) offering more money.

Does sound good on paper, to be honest sounds like someone who I’d be more open to after he’s had a decent season or 2, 12 games In the Portguese 2nd division doesn’t inspire confidence.
According to that article he's achieved quite a lot in those twelve games, though.

Edit: I take on board the nervousness of his inexperience.

How many games did Martinez have 👀
Right let’s explain things, we’ve had one failed experiment the club are not going to go down that route again, every appointment is a risk but clever people try to minimise that risk, fingers burned and all that.
