• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

The man on the inside says it’s all sorted so that’s good enough for me. Pretty much a clean sweep of the old, and in with the new.

So we're getting a manager with hardly any managerial experience and giving him two guys with no coaching experience until his preferred staff are finalised?
'The club is working with Matos on finalising a backroom staff that provides the support and expertise to give him the best chance of being successful' does not fill me with confidence at all.

He's coming in all alone, as an inexperienced manager, to work with two coaches who, as much as we love them as players, are here to bring 'vibes'.

I fear this could be an absolute shambles.

Do managers like Matos usually bring many staff with him? I know they have made the work permit system much tougher so will his lieutenants be able to get one from the Portuguese 2nd division?

No idea, he's only been a manager for 2 minutes so I guess if he's been able to get one then his coaches probably will as well?

He worked for Liverpool and RB Salzburg before that though. Maybe the others worked for a big Portuguese club and will qualify in the same way but I have no idea who they are to be honest.
