• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

He looks an outstanding bowler, but he's almost 28 and has a career blighted by injuries.

He's only ever played ...

4 x first class matches.

6 x List A matches.

11 x T20 matches.

I couldn't see Australia taking a chance on him for an Ashes Series.

Hopefully he can stay fit, shame to see a talent like that going through his career with this issues.

Good Fire double today.

Old Mr Duckett must be gutted, walking off the field with his tail tucked between his legs :D

Welsh Fire did seem to stumble along in chasing those runs, good win though in the end :D

It's weird watching these games. There is no Welsh players or identity but can't help backing them. I guess having Maynard on the coaching give us a glimmer of Welsh. Glad Phoenix are struggling after Duckett jumped ship refusing to play for us because he wanted to win the 100.. fat chance they have now.

Yeah I’ve watched a few of them. I don’t hate it as such. I just don’t see the point of a hundred ball format on a world where T20 is already the dominant format of the game.

I know what you mean ;)
