Does everyone have the BirdNET app on their phone, to identify birdsongs? It's terrific and free, and I didn't know how many song thrushes there are in my part of town.

European Roller seen in Cornwall today, first in 30 years apparently.

This isn't the Cornwall one, this is one I photographed in Spain, handsome birds. They're easy to photograph as they often just sit on wires like this one did, took the photograph without getting out of the car!

Thanks Darran, I'll keep an eye out for one of those as it looks like most of the sightings to date are not all that far from my area. Don't think they'll be easy to miss! :o
