Now that any issues of illegality have been dismissed, is this situation any less of an issue than the Schofield one?

He was hauled over the coals for alleged bullying and a relationship with a consenting adult he may have had 'influence' over.

Both witch hunts are ridiculous and paint society and the press in a bad light. I'm as guilty too, as I indulged in trying to find out who it was over the weekend.

Maybe a discussion is needed about what we accept morally from people with a public profile? Or we accept that people are different and may have 'interesting' personal lives?

If the police have not arrested Huw, then it can only be assumed that, at this time, The Sun have actively implied erroneously that he has broken the law.

Unless further information becomes evident I sincerely hope that Huw and his family bring together a super-duper legal team that proceeds to successfully sue the arse out of perhaps the most repellant daily newspaper in UK press history...( and that includes even the Mail and the Express.....just)

And Newsnight should hang their heads in shame. Platforming Rod "I can't be a teacher as I'd shag the pupils" Liddle is a new low for them.

Repeat after me "sucking Tory cock won't save you"

Edit - that's Newsnight, not you, obviously

I threw something at the TV when Liddle appeared.

Lets hope if anything does come of The Sun being hauled over the coals in court that it puts the scum rag out of business. :x
