“Playing the mental health card” is a pretty scummy thing to say.

Not at all, I've had family members with genuine MH issues...one took his own life FFS...so don't lecture me pal, but there are thousands who use it as a means and if you think otherwise then your thicker than we all think you are.

Seriously - this post is vile.

The police have confirmed that there are no matters of an illegal kind, someone with a well documented history of severe depression has been hospitalised and you’re assuming the paper who printed all this ignoring the express written denial of the person involved must have ‘something up their sleeve’ because they have absolutely no history of just lying do they?

The ONLY people that this concerns are his family. And the other people involved.

It's called a valid opinion flower.

Does anyone really give two f*cks, Darran, I know you don't, you're like cockle women

I’m not lecturing you “pal” just pointing out that it was a pretty scummy thing to say, not only about someone with a long and documented history of mental health issues but to pretty much everyone who suffers, has suffered or will suffer from similar. Including those you claim to care about who have suffered from similar. Well done though, edgy stuff.

" those I claim to care about "...cheeky cvnt.

The police have said no illegality then?

So we have:

A fine newsreader (one of the best at his job) ill in hospital, probably never to be the same
A family publicly destroyed
The instigators at the sun (for shorthand, let's call them 'the cunts') free to move on and no doubt destroy someone else soon enough.

Oh and the Johnson, Osborne, Illegal immigrants bill out of the news with the most corrupt, evil and rancid 'Government' in history still feeling free to pile into the BBC.

What a wonderful country we live in.

Or hide behind a keyboard ,you've perfected it.
Perhaps fate one day will give you a chance to keep me quiet.

I’m not difficult to locate. Now back in your box.

Someone with a long history of depression is pushed over the edge by what's happened to him this week. Damn right it would.
