Key doing well
Ronald not offering enough in an attacking sense
Cullen as usual offering next to nothing considering he is playing in the number 10 role

Hopefully we see Woodward come on early to midway in the second half to get himself some game time

Walta looks tidy technically and it’s not his usual role today out wide. Just get the sense he’s playing within himself a bit, definitely more to come from him.
Yeah. He had a couple of moments towards the end there, but before that, I swear every pass he made was to Burgess or Cabango. Leo, get me off the couch and I could do that; you're there because you can play facing the opponents goal and create things. He's not the only one guilty of that though. Classic end of season borefest so far, really.

In fairness to him the side is hardly playing with much tempo or movement to create the space for him to do that

It definitely does have the feel of an end of season dead rubber, players are passing and moving the ball but the tempo is about half a beat too slow and the few times we beat their press we passed it straight back to the defenders and holding midfielder

Classic last game of the season where neither team have anything to play for.

Charlton look exactly like you'd expect from a Nathan Jones team. Physical and direct while playing very little football.

Widdell going off has hurt us as even though he's not a winger, he's more effective there than Walta is.

I’d rather him take risks on the final day of the season than just coast through the game. I can understand not wanting to mess it up though too. This game will very likely be decided on a moment of invention though and hopefully he can provide it.

This game more than any other has exposed our lack of pace out wide. We’re not going to get through the middle of their block so we have to go down the sides. Unsurprising that Key is the only one who has managed to create a chance when he’s the only one with pace and directness. Something we have to address this summer for me.

The last ever matchday thread on jackarmy.net has also been a bit of a lame affair so far. Need to up our game in the 2nd half. Start some fights and call each other Cardiff fans for the smallest of reasons.

Before my time, but was there an incident where Charlton came on the north bank last game of a season in the 80s and it didn't end well for them? Miners helmets?
