• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Just enjoy it while it lasts, the old guard will have run it's last race after Tuesday and the cupboard is bare after that... 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Ha. I’ve Been know to use that quote

Feel bad for you guys. It's been a long wait for Wales to make it back to World Cup participation and the wheels have come off. I really want(ed) you, sincerely, to do well - qualify ahead of the Americans and English - but results so far have been mixed to say the least.

Think you need a big score to make it against England the last match to make it through. Play like you did second-half against the Yanks and there's every chance you can do it. Particularly if the English are as ineffective as they were yesterday.

Euro 2016 was it, Wales surprised everyone by going a long way in the competition back then and it were good to see. Get back that spirit for the last group game, if other result goes your way, you never know it just may be enough. Every success OK ?

Looks like Madisson and Walker are back, tough time for us on Tuesday I think the Saes have quality all over the pitch and in reserve.

Looking forward to seeing the Japs this morning. Love Brazil but this lot are my favourite 2nd team. Win and they are through, more or less.

Its amazing watching Japan how few fouls they give away considering how intense their press is.
Their play seems slow at the back but it speeds up so much when it moves through the lines, everything that I wished our team played like.

Japan have been awful against a team sitting back. It’s like watching the Swans, no pace, no urgency and now caught on the break.

Was thinking exactly the same pal.
The group standings are now mental.

It’s been a terrifically entertaining World Cup so far fair play.

I agree. Watching the ‘bigger’ teams getting caught out by the ‘smaller’ football nations has made for a fantastic watch. Hopefully it’s england’s turn on Tuesday…..

Edit…
Another example of that right now.
Belgium 0 - 0 Morocco. HT.
Morocco have goal disallowed (correctly) for offside right on halftime.
