Not sure if this world cup has been a bookie's dream or nightmare.
So many shock results so far and we haven't even finished the second round of group games.

What results? They have massively under achieved in tournament finals, if you count qualifying groups in which they should get through at a canter fair enough, but with the players at his disposal he should at least had them in the final of a tournament.

They were No1 in the World at one point, just looked they're No2 now Brazil are No1.

Spain v Germany game has started well, can't see passed Spain myself, Ferran Torres gait and running reminds me of Fernando Torres, I just checked to see if they're related and they're not, its uncanny that he reminds me of Fernando though :smile:

The other minnows have turned up, whereas we seem far more concerned about “one love” armbands, and saying how much we’d love to knock England out while doing absolutely nothing against The USA and Iran and will no doubt get a pasting from the Saes on Tuesday.

I thought I’d be proud as punch watching us at the World Cup, and I may only be speaking for myself here, but it’s been quite embarrassing. All the build up and documentaries just for us to turn up and play the way we have, we may as well have not qualified at all as far as I’m concerned. With RP having a 4 year contract, I can’t see it getting any better. I believe our “golden era” is certainly at an end unfortunately.
