I've been saying it for a while. Ntcham is only at his best in a team playing fast, positive football and is hopeless in a team playing at a snail's pace. This is why he's ineffective as a starter for us because we nearly always start with our usual trademark pedestrian negativity but go a goal behind and bring him on when we've upped the tempo to chase the game with 20 to go and he looks like a world beater and our most likely scorer. In a Martin side, we will never get the best out him consistently because we only play a style that suits him for 10-20 minutes in a game, and not even in every game. He must be as frustrated as we are watching him. Today he proved that againt a team several levels above what he faces in the Championship.
