Why try to derail a thread with negativity for negativity sake? There are a number of posters who need to cheer up a bit and stop trying to drag us down.

Exactly.Does it matter how we’ve got to a sell out stadium? It’s still a massive achievement, and it will be brilliant to see such a big home crowd again. The atmosphere was awesome for the Wrexham game and it gave us a spike in attendance afterwards. Hopefully the game tomorrow does something similar.
Nah miles off with that.I got sent a code that meant I could have 2 free tickets. The email came because my son attends PL Kicks sessions organised by the Swans Foundation. I was in the process of getting some with the intention of gifting them to someone, but realised I needed to assign the seats to my account and didn't know if that would mess something up with our season tickets, so didn't bother.
I'm sure there was also something sent to me about NHS workers etc being able to get free tickets.
As someone who has been around these forums for years, there's a bizarre trend at the moment for some posters (old and new) to get very defensive if anyone posts anything even approaching criticism of anything the club has done. Huw and the old owners used to get a harder time than the current owners, even when they were overseeing promotion after promotion!
Yes there are some that will moan about everything, but I don't see many of them around these days and I certainly don't see Lisa and ARQS as in that group. There's more posters who will jump down the throat of anyone who suggests things aren't 100% perfect in Swansea City land.
Well said. BravoCornrows
Nah miles off with that.
Nobody will say a word is it’s constructive criticism, but there are a select few on here who seem hell bent of having a pop at the current ownership group for the tiniest of non reasons. It’s those people that others have an issue with. It makes me wonder if they are being told to act that way, funnily enough those people are only too quick to accuse others of being stooges for the ownership for exactly the opposite behaviours.
I’m not arsed how much someone is respected on these forums (if that’s even a thing) but when they are constantly and I mean constantly pick pick picking, then they are going to attract comments.
Someone mentioned that some are behaving like Perch used to do, and they aren’t far wrong either.
I echo every single word of that post, bravo NJCornrows

Then my little essay doesn’t apply to you my friend. Our discussion was regarding whether people were attending the game tomorrow because of Snoop or not.To be fair, I don't think I've ever criticised the new ownership group. Other than being very sceptical about the Matos appointment which to be fair, most people were.
It’s also going to get young, first timers hooked for life. There will be youngsters asking their parents if then can go again next week.I’m happy because the buzz will be great tomorrow night and the atmosphere will be great too (fingers crossed) I hope that can then inspire our players to have a good match so we win the match. Let’s make the place rock and feel intimidating like we can.
What demographic do you think Snoop would attract ?Thank you.
The funny thing is I wasn't criticising - I was just passing on what I have heard about tickets for the game and what several others on here have also confirmed - that they are giving away a fairly large number of free tickets for the game. I only bothered to mention it after reading a discussion around the club missing out on an opportunity to link the game to the Bristol City one.
I also said I didn't have a problem with it and that I agreed with the approach to make sure the stadium is full and noisy for something that they hope is going to be shared all over the world. Someone even called that a 'conspiracy theory' when in reality showing something you want to promote as being thriving and busy is one of the oldest marketing tricks in the book. Again, not a criticism. It would have looked crap if we'd had an attendance of 14,000.
Although as fascinating as I find it, I do stand by my point that the stadium isn't selling out to this extent based purely on Snoop coming along and waving a bit before the match. Especially as he's hardly the correct demographic for the average Swans fan. Which is backed up by giving away so many free tickets really isn't it - was anyone offered a free ticket through a football camp or local kids football for the Man City game earlier this season? No.
Sad that some seem to want to supress discussion and opinion these days. However, if they want to believe that we're going to get our record home attendance because Snoop Dogg is walking around before the game and no other reason, then they can crack on.
