The RB situation-Key and Galbraith

After such a poor first half the subs all three made a huge difference .
The first 2 mins of the second half you could see the mindset had changed .
Yalcoure , Key and Nunez were instrumental with an excellent half where on another day we win .

When we have all our ball players on together we are a threat going forward .
I prefer Stamenic with Franco then you can add Galbraith , Yalcoure , Widdell ,

With different options in midfield a starting 11 doesn't matter anymore the finishers are just as important.
When Yalcoure goes back you can add Walta .A squad of 18 with the same qualities is vital for next season .

Galbraith in midfield is a no brainier for me. When he plays right back he’s constantly wandering into midfield anyway and is regularly out of position for a right back. (See Preston’s goal).
He looks so much more comfortable in midfield and not hesitant like he frequently does at RB.

I would use Fulton as a full back with Key playing in the Ronald role. Unless there is a dramatic improvement I would see Eom and Ronald as at best bench warmers.

I feel Galbraith is too good to be played at RB although Stanamic does add that bite at CDM especially if we are getting outmuscled.
It’s definitely food for thought for Matos.
Maybe, ward with Key infront might be well balanced?

Let's say it, Galbraith was outstanding in the DM role 2nd half yesterday and was like watching a Leon Britton back in the day.
Was also nice to see Key come on and play his part going forward. We looked so much better and balanced as a team with Key at RB. He was holding that RB position far better and we got in behind PNE defence when Key was there.

Galbraith is a superb footballer, far too cultured to be playing the majority of his time at RB and having a full back who can get past our winger in attacking positions clearly makes the team more balanced. The issue we have with Key which isn't ideal as he is primarily a Defender, he struggles defensively.

We are in a position where realistically we likely won't get the top 6 and won't get relegated. Do we now persist with Key at RB?
Do we push Galbraith back into MF where he was performing so well before his switch to RB?
The midfield is still a big question regards to who our best 3 are so this gives us time to assess and try a few variations in readiness for next season.

I just thought after last night it was clear the balance in the team with a RB who wasn't coming in field all the time was far better and a player in Galbraith who's understanding of the game was far more suited in Central Midfield.

Let's have a decent and genuine discussion on this, I think it's a relevant one and very clear after what we set out eyes on last night 2nd half.
How do you think Key will cope against Ipswich's Jack Clarke.
Also, what about Yalcouye starting and bring on Franco after 60 minutes

Ronald has none of the attributes of an attacking winger. No pace, no skill to beat players, no end product. If anything, he’s a full back! Stamenic and Galbraith together doesn’t really work, we’ve seen that, especially when you add in Franco. Maybe Stam/Gal/Widdell or Walta or Yalcouye would work. Got to be worth a shot to see.

Unfortunately I don’t think it’s a problem we’ll have for long. Galbraith’s agent will be working his socks off to get him a move and I’d be surprised to see him here next year,
