• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Should be. Can’t see there being many five day games.

Could end up being 4 x 50 over games in every test. Cant wait!

Don't lie, you're an avid reader I bet!

Twice a day normally!

1st Ashes Test ...

England XI: v Australia

1 Zak Crawley, 2 Ben Duckett, 3 Ollie Pope, 4 Joe Root, 5 Harry Brook, 6 Ben Stokes (capt), 7 Jonny Bairstow (wk), 8 Moeen Ali, 9 Stuart Broad, 10 Ollie Robinson, 11 James Anderson.

The toss will be interesting. Stokes has developed a habit of bowling first. It’ll be a brave move to do that tomorrow after a month of wall to wall sunshine and warm temperatures.

My boys going into this in fine form after winning the Test World cup in emphatic style against a very strong Indian outfit.

I'm going for a Stevie Smith masterclass series and the Urn to be staying in Australian hands.

Can't see past the Aussies winning this 1st test. Have lumped on @7/4.

is the pound shop Ed Sheeran, Jonny Bairstow playing?

  Yes. One of the things I’m looking forward to most about the next six weeks is bantering with you about it. :D
