Mind you it was a particularly viscous piece of cardboard mind. FFS😕

Still wouldn't put it in my engine though.

Geraint Thomas just crashed early in the stage.. Looked like he'd broken a collar bone..... but apprently not. He's back on his bike after getting a dislocated shoulder blade popped back in, but 2.5 mins behind the peloton. It's going to take a big effort from Ineos to get him back in the peloton. His mistake apparently and it's caused Robert Gesink, a Roglic teammate to abandon.

Actually, he's already back in the peloton, so not that hard to get him back in. Hope his shoulder won't give him too much gyp.

Mr. Mark Cavendish....... What a guy!! 31st stage win. One of the biggest come backs in any sport, let alone the physicality of pro road cycling.

My neighbours must've thought I was attempting Harakiri the amount of screaming I was doing.

How good was that. Got to be one of the greatest ever sporting comebacks.

Only saw it on 7pm replay. Cheered me up after the football. Sadly, it will be overlooked due to the football result. Enjoyed all the interviews afterwards. And then he went back to the school

Marvelous yes, but he is only a sprinter mind being led out by his train.

Who left his train today, to join another train where he felt that gave him the best advantage. And he won. You're tiresome, I'll give you that.

That's what all good sprinters do.

Trampie is tiresome yes, but's he only a WUM doing his thing. ;)

If Cavendish was Welsh Trampie would be more prepared to acknowledge his brilliance and what a huge achievement this comeback is. Will he win any more stages this year and get ever closer to Merckx's record?

I hope Cav wins in both Nimes and Paris (he has won before in Nimes and 4 times in. Paris). His rejuvenation is a huge positive seeing that Geraint's fall has effected his times somewhat. Hopefully, as the Tour progresses, G's shoulder will give him less and less gyp and he can regain his losses in the mountains. They have to climb Ventoux twice in one stage......twice!....the idea of it gives me the heebee jeebees.

Makes no difference to me if Cavendish is from Wales or not, a sprinter is a sprinter is a sprinter.
