Swansea boss Russell Martin said his side lacked a bit of spark in the 1-1 draw with Hull which officially ended any hopes that we had of reaching the end of season play offs. Luke Cundle’s equaliser cancelled out an early Ben Cabango own goal but the draw was not enough to keep the fading […]

Nothing to do with him, obviously. I mean, why would it be?

Why anyone pays any attention to this meaningless garbage beats me.
I am more puzzled why we allow it

Drew against a team who has only lost at home to Burnley since November and it’s “false dawn” 😂😂

I thought we looked poor today we was slow and lethargic as mentioned the players were stood still with the ball numerous times for about 5-10 seconds doing nothing, considering we knew we had to win to have a slight chance on the 8th of May, we didn’t show any intention to win the game imo.

"Swansea boss Russell Martin said his side lacked a bit of spark"...

In a nutshell, in his own words, season 22/23 right there.

You would say that because you got a brain like a goldfish.... Two seasons mid table and his endless press conferences talking himself up is his false dawn. Since the day he arrived he promised so much but the reality is very different, his last words yesterday where "win our last game to go into the summer with momentum and excitement"

A point away at Hull isn’t a bad thing although a decent RB might have snuffed out their goal. I’m still wondering why he didn’t play Darling, I can only assume it’s Martin attempting to make a point re Lati and a contract renewal.

It’s not this result that killed us, it’s the dross served up between November and March.

I agree but we could have at least tried to win yesterday. Hull were nothing, despite people trying to turn them into Argentina to support Martin’s twaddle.

Yes, considering that Martin would have talked it up has having something to play for, it was pretty lethargic.

Interesting interview with Lati this week asking him why we have an upturn in form...I guess he couldn't say because they didn't play me 😀

To say the players "lacked spark" is an indictment on Martin's abilities as a coach and a leader. It's his job to key the players up and motivate them to perform to their best.

Quite how he couldn't do that yesterday perhaps speaks volumes.

Regardless of what you think of Martin you surely can't deny this comment?
