I rarely wander over to the Cardiff forums these days, but decided to have a nose tonight. Annis has come out with another pearler...

Well for me Brentford, Bournemouth, Watford and Norwich are way smaller clubs than us and we inky came down from the Prem 18months ago, I grew up looking at these clubs as minute clubs compared to us

Norwich and Watford would be pissing themselves reading that, maybe even Bournemouth.

I always have a look at their forum after they’ve lost. I know call me a saddo but it just adds to the pleasure. Tonight is particularly entertaining with so many references as to how they are such a big club !

PS. Where’s Dwight?

Apparently they're the same size club as Everton. That's Everton who have won 9 Championships, 5 FA Cups and in Europe the Cup Winners Cup. Pitiful mun.

They beat Real Madrid once, but still lost the tie mun

They are unbelievable aren't they. 2 seasons at the top level in the last SIXTY years.

That Anus bloke must be of an age when they for years were getting 4,5k average attendances at Ninian Park. Difficult to understand how they can be so deluded in the face of the facts.

Can you imagine the absolute meltdown if they don’t win against Wycombe?

Norwich spent the best part of almost 25 years in the top flight (only three seasons outside from 1973 - 1995) so it must be a different Norwich that he grew up watching.

They are a citizenry used to being told that they're special. That they are a major Global capital city rather than a simple regional admin centre. That they deserve the money spent on them at the expense of the rest of Wales, a situation worsened since 1999. If playing second fiddle to us for most of the past 40 years hasn't been enough to shake it then nothing will.

As soon as I see any of them comment ‘we are your capital’, I know that they’ve lost their argument. We all know the ‘Barnet’ comeback.

I’d wager that it’s easy to name at least 50 clubs that have had more success or a higher average league position than them in the last 100 years.

They use their appalling 2 visits to the PL as an argument for their size and success. Think of the teams that have done very similar and have now been forgotten. Cardiff are more akin to Swindon Town than Norwich.

You cannot be a premier league club unless you stay there. To just get there and not be good enough to be there is just being a championship club out of your depth.

Unlike us, they have not been a top table club for 60 years. Big club my arse. Average middling club. Sleeping giant? No. A Sleeping Mark Drakeford. Maybe.

They've got nothing else. Note that they've shut up about stadium size since they couldn't sell theirs out consistently either season they were there, and now pretty much all you can see on TV coverage of their home games is that big bank of empty red seats.

They are just a joke club overall. It's not like their fans think they are big and special and the players/directors etc don't, all the crap from Sam Hamman, Will Vaulks 'biggest club in Wales' and them expecting to be top six this year etc.

I think the majority of fans, who are sane, expect us to be in the Championship from now on minimum, challenging for promotion regularly and hopefully one year get back into the Prem. With Cardiff, they want to win the Champions League in 2022-23.

They are no bigger than an Oldham/Barnsley/Brentford.
But don't mention the Kingsway in the 80s, they go into fckn overdrive.
