• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

If there is no vinegar I would rather not have the chips.
I don’t put salt or vinegar on chips. In fact I don’t add salt to anything.
I don’t have sugar in tea or coffee either.
Black pepper… that’s a totally different thing. 😍

The temporary 50mph zone that has been over the Ynysforgan roundabout for aaaages. Never seen anything happening there and the vast majority of people (including myself to be honest) ignore it. Is there anything actually happening there? Don't think there's works under the bridge either?

I think it’s because the central reservation barrier is in a state of disrepair.

In all seriousness Mutey well done. I've never had sugar in tea either, never really add salt to anything (beyond cooking with it). Chips is the only thing I put salt on.

I think it's also a generational thing with salt (although from what I remember, you're not in your twenties ;)). My father, in his 70s, will chuck salt and pepper on a dish before even tasting it. I think that was pretty much the norm 'back then'. Seems crazy to me.

I’ll give this a half like. I don’t put salt on anything either, but vinegar can does go on most things.

I thought it was after a few bad crashes there and one was a fatality. The police traced my number plate from the cameras as I’d passed through a minute or so before the fatal crash.
