I’m not a great fan of online shopping for food, if needs must, I will, but nothing more frustrating than a few hours before order arrives, you check the email and the items that you really wanted are out of stock, which bloody annoys me, when the delivery is at say 9am-10am and shows OOS, yet you check the app in store and it’s showing stock. 🤬

I never suggested they could. Exactly the same as not everyone is able to book their shopping online like the poster I replied to does.
Fair enough NJ

As a side note Mrs tried the online shopping, firstly during Covid, but it never developed into a regular event Mrs likes to chose the products herself, I call there some mornings to pick up a few fruit punnets very refreshing they are to.

That’s exactly my issue, I want to choose the best products with the longest dates on them, not the battered stuff that’ll be out of date by th time you put them away.

I can’t get my head around people that are happy for a supermarket employee to pick their food for them. Fuck that, I want to inspect every inch of the fresh produce I’m buying and I’m picking them from the bottom box or out of the drawer, not the ones that are on top.

Savvy shoppers are in and done by 7am 😎
I agree with ALMOST all of that... but on what crazy planet does 7 AM exist!

When programmes show you highlights of a game, and proceed to tell you if someone scores or not before showing the shot.

I’ve got to say, a ‘today I learned’ thing…I was in Tesco’s Neath Abbey and an elderly lady was looking and fruit and pulled out those drawers underneath…sneaky sod! Never knew about them!

I was in a church in Neath just now watching my youngest grandson’s class singing and two male parents sat through the whole service wearing baseball caps and it really irritated me.
Going into a shop ( when out for a good walk) and finding the pop in the fridge isn't cold , because they haven't got the temperature set low enough. If you are not going to chill the goods in the fridge, you may as well leave it on the bloody shelf.

Jenkins Bakery fridges are like that. The bottles of water/pop/squash in the fridges are almost always more or less room temperature. Boo.
