• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Men who treat cars and bikes like they're a pet.. feeding it with oil, water and that blue stuff.. it's got no feelings FFS
I keep a nice warm blanket over my bike, it loves being nice and snug like a bug in a rug it is, loving life. :ROFLMAO:

We got to go through Teams to actually speak to the office etc and most start their reply with "Hey" ffs winds me right up that does as does most of the other American words they use, we've not in fucking America ffs, Moron's!

FAO Saint & Smurph:

The NFL season:
32 teams divided into 16 representing AFC conference and 16 representing NFC. Each conference has 4 divisions of 4 teams, generally divided by geographical location. Seasons fixtures made up of games versus your league opponents (6 games, 3 x each home and away) and 11 other games derived by an algorithm, so 17 regular season games in total.

Each division winner is guaranteed a play off spot, three other best performing teams from each conference (not division) also qualify for play offs. At this stage the route to the Super Bowl sees AFC teams play AFC teams and the same for NFC. The 1st seeded team (based on record over the 17 games) gets a bye in first round of playoffs. The remaining six teams play games based on 2nd seed versus 7th, 3rd v 6th, 4th v 5th. Winner goes through to next round where 1st seed plays lowest seed, second highest seed plays second lowest seed. Highest seed always plays at home. Second play off round is this weekend, final round next week which will confirm the conference champion and the team which represents the conference in the Super Bowl.

Irrespective of whether you have an interest, you should support the Detroit Lions 😆

Thanks for this ❤️

How come the Detroit Lions are so popular in the UK?

I've been to watch the Jaguars at Wembley for the last few years and the amount of British fans they have sat around us has always amazed me.

I’m not sure they are TBH. You might see reference to them here as CSF is a long time fan and I’m only following because of their resurgence and the fact that I saw them live last January. Until quite recently they have been terrible, many seasons with only one or two wins, and one with zero! Never won a Super Bowl either.

Proper under dog type of story 🙏🏼

I've got a soft spot for the Chicago Bears, after watching them on channel 4 as kid.

I can remember the Fridge and Walter Payton.

Same for me, I started with the Bears and for the same reason. Then I saw the Bills live about twenty years ago and developed a soft spot for them, then I migrated to the Titans as I was back and forth to Tennessee a lot, and now the Lions.

I’ve had a few teams 😂

People talking about NFL on this thread, when there is a dedicated NFL thread 😉🤣

Guilty, m’lord 🙋🏻‍♂️

Back on track, I’ll give the flimsy cling film boxes which collapse when you try and tear on the serrated edge. The Lidl option is an absolute dog turd of an example.

I've got a liking for the Tennessee Titans. Been to their stadium several times, though unfortunately never to watch a game . Part of the country music festival is held at the stadium over 4 nights in early June.
