• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Do you have a beard ja...IC?
No, I tried to grow one once when I had to spend a month on the Skerries lighthouse, I lasted 3 days before shaving it off, anyone who sports a beard are masochists in my humble opinion...

I’ve had a beard for 45 years and it’s never hurt? I’ve saved a fortune on razor blades too.

Miniscule writing on food packages in shops. I refuse to eat farmed fish or Pacific trawled fish processed in China and, unless I take a photo of the package and zoom in, it's impossible to read.

Both Laura Hamilton and Danni Menzies on Place in the Sun calling the Costa del Sol the "Costa del Soul".
Grinds my gears. Are James Brown and Aretha Franklin living down there FFS?

Also, housing is more affordable for young Spaniards in this country due to the influx of second home owners and ex-pats muscling in ...
Unchecked immigration can cause infrastructure problems in many countries.

The fvckin mess the clowncil make when cutting the grass verges. (When they can be arsed that is).

Lee Juggernauth on 'A Place in the Sun'.

If he was made of chocolate, he'd eat himself.
He seems a very good presenter to me, the wife watches those programmes so I have seen him on numerous occasions. IMHO there are way more annoying presenters than that, take Bradley Walsh for example.

Well, there you go. I think Bradley Walsh is fine. It's all a matter of personal taste.
