• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

The only thing those 2 ladies are guilty of being is "goyjuss"!!!!

“ Jessica Allen (left) and Eliza Moore are now sticking to walks nearer their homes “

That’s all I needed to read, the first line. Selfish twàts for driving. I’d love to drive for a walk elsewhere but I’m not. Walk from your home.

People using mental health for this makes a mockery of people who actually suffer with poor mental health, bunch of pricks.

Hold on Mr Swerve, she suffers from anxiety.. Granted it's not as bad as some others mental health problems, but come on. We are all turning on each other for no reason.

When its bad, it can be crippling and soul destroying. I can't comment on her case or even if she's being truthful or not but when an unknown phone call or trip to a doctors appointment can leave you throwing up, physically and mentally drained and that's if you make it out side then I don't think you can say it's not as bad as others. Everyone is different and everyone's experiences with poor mental health is different. They're all pretty fucking bad when they're bad.

True, I took it from the post that he was talking about serious diagnosed mental health problems, but as you say any mental health problem is serious my wife suffers from anxiety and depression and it's terrible. You are correct, even anxiety should not be poo pooed as a trivial problem.

You’ve got a wife?
Fuck. Ing. Hell.

Yes, and she's currently not speaking to me..

I think it's because I am on the beer.

Hey one positive, at least I'm not taking it out on you guys/gals my troubles..

Back many moons ago, I would have..

After watching the masters perform on the other site, I feel now I can have a rational discussion with anyone, no matter how much rubbish is aimed at me, I can cope.

I suffer from horrific anxiety at times. I’d love to go down Gower for a walk around. I’m not. I’m walking and cycling from my house...not as lovely and calming, but I’m sticking to the rules because I want rid of this virus.

Like I said, selfish twàts using mental health to do what they want.

People saying that they are ‘driving to places that are quieter’ are totally missing the point. What if everyone took this attitude and started to drive to these beauty spots?

Thick as mince.

From my first post in this thread:

'I would say neither party comes out looking great. They do come across like entitled twats (to quote Itchy) and yet the police response seems OTT. Surely they could have taken names and registrations and issued a warning that they'd be fined if they were caught doing it again?'

Not quite sure how that translates as dealt with harshly.

From what you said:

You're right. It's shocking how many people are blindly believing what they are told by certain people and find themselves unwilling/unable to change their point of view, even when the evidence is right in front of them.

For me, in a nutshell you are saying the police are entitled to do that, you are saying that they don't give a hoot about the virus, and think they can do what they want.

My reply was in response to that, not previous posts.

That was about people who believe the US election was rigged with no proof and those who believe the scenes at the Capitol were caused by Trump's enemies, in defiance of all evidence, logic and common sense.

Apologies for making it too subtle.
