• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

More evidence for my theory that they screen potential contestants on Tipping Point to filter out anyone with an IQ over 20.
Bloke was just asked "teak, mahogany and bolsa are types of which natural material?". "Pass".
FFS.

PS Ben Shepherd should have said "and your head is made of it... "

Just caught the last two mins with the winner unwilling to gamble 2.8k for the 10 with three discs, christ i could have blown the star over the edge needless to say when they dropped the disc the first one was enough to tip it over.

More thickos on today's programme.

BEN - "From which fossil fuel is petrol derived in a process called fractional distillation?"

Contestant - "Well let's think what fossil fuels I know....coal....oil....gas...I'm going to say gas".

FFS

Yeah, that's why the price of petrol goes up in the filling station when the price of oil rises, you dumb feck.....

If the jackpot counter falls to the left at the very top then the vast majority of the counters won tend to go the right, or vice versa, so I have my suspicions.

A question on today's Tipping Point was...'Which former Conservative Party leader is often known by the initials IDS?'...

The plum who answered it said...'Margaret Thatcher'.

🤔😕😵

This thread is certainly better than the actual programme.

As much as it's a cash cow for him, there must be times when Ben Shepherd must want to chuck it all in rather than constantly feign excitement at this shambles.

Given recent BLM protests, I'm surprised the programme's title hasn't come in for a little bit of hammer.

Question on today's TP...

"A 'Marsquake' is a seismic tremor found on which celestial body?"

The Scouse pelican it was aimed at answered...

"The moon".

Lol, I saw that one Bryn! Not as good as yesterday though.

"Name an American state that starts and ends with the letter A"

Contestant: "Florida"

Feck me, and we let these people vote on Brexit.

So it's not a cheesecake decorated with Mars Bars then...

When I used to watch it I noticed that the big counter would fall one way and most, if not all, of the other counters would then fall the other way.

They're looking for contestants at the moment.

Remember - act dumb.

Karl - act normal.

Jacqui today, a retired lecturer from Bridgend...
Q: which body part is said to be pulled when someone is being teased?
A: the elbow
