Couldn’t have foreseen his career taking a rapid upward trajectory like it has done, especially after his loan period here. What next, Fisher to be winning the golden glove after he leaves us??

The bloke’s been on fire for a few years now. I didn’t see it when he was here either, but maybe that says more about us than him! It just shows that we shouldn’t write players off on limited evidence.

Some players take time and others hit it off earlier. I saw little in his performance when he was with us to say he was gonna be good. Again sometimes it takes the right team, system etc. For me personally I am bored of people saying we missed out etc. Flip a coin and tell me if anyone really knows what player you will get. Stats can give you so much, but time, place and whole lot more goes into this. As for Fisher, well let's not start that conversation up haha. That one for me is a dud from the start.

Did Schecter ever go on to be a goal scorer anywhere?

Leon Britten couldn't play for any other team than the Swans. Horses for courses etc.

Some players are just not suited for certain clubs or others only shine when playing for a certain club.

Britton for us compared to Sheff Utd, Zaha for Palace compared to Man Utd and Gyokeres for us compared to every other club he played for since are all prime examples of that.

Could have been the environment or the playing style or the coaches or even rapport/connection with the fans. They all play a part in the mentality a player has when they play for one side compared to another.

Apparently he had an attitude problem here, same with Kukharevych.. I'd probably be p*ssed off if Cullen was getting more chances than me an all.. Whittaker, Gyokeres and Mykola.. see a pattern etc

In all fairness he didn't really get an opportunity here other than coming off the bench in a lost cause or the occasional start.

Our high quality players obviously kept him out of the first XI 🤣😂🤣

To be fair, we finished 4th in his season here with Ayew and Lowe doing a good job upfront for us. It's not surprising he couldn't get many minutes and not one of us fans were complaining about it.

He also only scored 3 goals in 19 games for Coventry in the second half of that season. Mark Robins saw his potential and pushed to sign him permanently, but apparently most Coventry fans were not happy with that decision.

Great cross but I'd completely forgotten about Jordon Garrick so I Googled him and apparently he plays for Oldham in the National League.
Aye Garrick playes in the same Oldham side as Sam Clueless, how many millions did he cost us?... 😭

He wasn't bad for Coventry either? 38 goals in 91 games

He was a pup when he came here but both clubs were/are a perfect fit for him, with a supply of direct play right into him.
