• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Overly harsh. He does have 6 (I think) assists so far, which if he carries on at that rate will be into double figures by the end of the season; not too bad when you look at the players around him.

The best you can say about him is that he's at least getting into positions where his lack of end product is on display, most of them don't even get that far and it's all entirely theoretical if they have any end product or not.
Yep, on track for 10+ assist for
Season on same ratio

Hardly bad is it ffs

He's got far more end product than Eom or Bianchini, and Vipotnik looked a stone overweight today and is really not at the races. People slagged Yates off, though not a fan, he's got far more end product than Vipotnik or Bianchini.
I'd like to give Yates another chance, was nowhere near as bad a player as he was made out to be on here (not surprising mind)

Scotland would undoubtedly find it more difficult as we move the ball so slowly, but he’d look in a different class to our strikers now. Largely because he was in a different class.
sxotland hardly set the world alight above league 1 though did he?

It’s a bit of an indictment of our current lot that you’re wanting Yates back…

Obviously we all want them to all suddenly become fantastic and turn into a wonderful team but it is amusing that people feel sorry for players being criticised as though they’re amateurs doing their best. They are paid thousands and thousands a week to play at this level. It’s perfectly reasonable to say they don’t appear to be good enough.
They may be good enough elsewhere. They may be giving their all. It’s not even their fault. It’s the fault of those who’ve scouted them for us.

He has two more assists to his name than Harry Darling, let that sink in.
Presumably darling has more than most wingers in the league then, as doubt there are loads with 6+ at this stage of season👍

He's a decent goalscorer at this level, which we haven't got

This season Ronald has assisted a goal every 4.61 matches. If you think that's a good return, I'll leave you to it.

Oh I did, but as above, couldn't cut it at a higher level
He went straight to the premier league didn’t he? With Roberto? Or am I misremembering. Probably a step too far. He’d have been great if he’d stayed with us for the championship.

Roughly gets you to 12 assists in a season, not too shabby. If you told me we were loookjjg at a 21(?) year old winger who had 12 assist last season I'd be biting your hand off, so let's please not think otherwise
