• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

He's coming along nicely.

Get a few better quality players in and around him then I can see him develop further.

We might have a player here...
Hold up play is coming on really well and have shown massive improvements. It's scary to think how Williams has destroyed nearly all of our players. I'm not saying we have players who are world class, but the whole team looks more organised and know their roles.

A creative #10 in behind will make all the difference IMO. The kind of player who will slot the passes through for him.
We may have that with eom. That goal should do him the world of good as he has missed several absolute sitters this season and could easily find himself on 7-10 goals

I would like to see Eom more central. I don't think he has the pace to operate all that effectively out wide, but he may have what it takes to play that role.

With MPH allegedly out for the season now it will be likely that Eom gets an extended period of time in the squad on the left wing. At least until Ginnelly gets up to speed (which Sheehan said will still take some time)

I can’t see it, but I hope you’re right. He’s got a long way to go to be a ‘player’ though in my opinion. It’s worth preserving with him though, so I like that Sheehan is giving him a chance to find some form.

Agree with others - it doesn’t help having Cullen being utterly ineffective behind him.

I didn't think it either but had some good shots today and looked like a striker, whereas he didn't even look like a pub player months ago

Yes Eom has an eye for a pass. Played a lovely one today and his cross was superb. Pity our three players couldn’t get on the end of it. His work rate was on a par with Franco’s too.

Personally I think he's a decent player who has been criminally wasted by the previous manger.

There are a lot of attacking players who looked stifled and ineffective the way Williams was sending the team out to play.

It'll be interesting to see what happens if Yates comes back because for me he was probably the first victim of it.
