I've no suitable words after that embarrassment, Aussies down to 14 men and yet they score 21pts, you couldn't make it up, they know what they are doing on a rugby field and we clearly haven't got a fucking clue.
Their players are massive though and play with power and pace Schmidt knows what he's doing he's an excellent coach he did it in Ireland and he'll do it in Australia.

I've got faith in Gats anyway, I've not got any faith in the WRU they usually take the wrong turning, Gat is right the Welsh Coach should have the control he needs, he Gats has earned that right.
If he goes who do they turn to and what if we are still in the same situation we are in now in 12 months time, no one is gonna come in and wave a magic wand and turn things around, stick with Gats listen to his recommendations and act on some if not all, FFS!

They need to drop the 25 cap rule. I know it’s there to try and keep players in the Welsh clubs, but we don’t have the luxury of limiting our options.
The club game was regionalised to help the national side advance. Well it worked. 4 Grand Slams and a Triple Crown. But it totally killed the club game.
Central contracts mean players are held back from playing for their clubs so they can play for Wales. Club fans end up watching games which rarely kick off at 3pm on a Saturday and without their star players. What’s the point of that?
Clubs have died and that’s where we get our players from. This is where we end up.

If you drop the 25 cap rule, given the wages in Wales are lower than what players can potentially trouser elsewhere there’s a real risk of an exodus and the regions being decimated.
The Club game is struggling, I watch a reasonable amount of the new SRC tournament, the emphasis among the Clubs is supposed to be about developing players, but I’m not sure all the clubs have actually bought in to the concept. Some Regions have “shared” the youngsters out amount their “feeder clubs” while others are pooling them which distorts the playing level, - full time pro’s against kids and semi pro’s isn’t always a great developmental tool !!

Gatland is quite rightly copping some flak, but this isn’t all down to him. Pivac was slaughtered and no it’s Gatland’s turn. We’ve not got the players and the WRU and Regions hostility has created a toxic atmosphere which has seen the game implode. Years ago, most clubs had a first and second team, but that’s far from the case these days. I’d like to see heads roll at the WRU.
