• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

My logic is based on recent results in Euro qualifiers, World cup qualifiers and Euro finals games plus world rankings if teams haven't played recently.
And it was possible if not probable that if Wales had had home advantage and the same fixtures as England then Wales would have been back in the Euros semis for the second successive time.
It does not mean this current Wales team is as good as England's current team and it does not mean that Denmark will beat England or England will beat Denmark it just means that if Wales were lucky enough to have had England's fixtures with home advantage apart from the Ukraine game then Wales might well have reached the semi finals themselves.

Ifs and buts though
We had the short straw, especially when Eng and Scot both got to play at home, but Switzerland had the same issue as us and got further
Im super happy with getting out of the group, we're a small nation and until we qualify for a World Cup are punching well above our weight with our last 2 Euros results
Switzerland have a higher world ranking than us and just like us the draw did them no favours.

Well by your logic Denmark should beat them as they beat us so no worries

I think Denmark have a very good chance tbh.

While I think England will probably win, if they reckon Denmark are going to give Kane free headers in the box the way Ukraine did, they have another thing coming. It’s no foregone conclusion that’s for sure. The kind of supporters England have will turn against them if Denmark get the start they did against Belgium. Everyone’s second team the English media said when they faced us, and they’re my second team now! Can you imagine travelling away every fackin week to face these insufferable Kents if they win the damn thing!

I really like Southgate.

For years we've laughed as England appoint big-name managers, and they pick big-name players instead of in-form players. There are always huge egos and expectation, followed by dismal failure.

Southgate uses a young squad, and there are few big egos among them. They're well drilled, disciplined, and organised. They may be lacking enough quality to beat Italy in the final, but the whole setup is a big improvement on the usual England sides.
