• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

To be fair to him he gave that madhouse a season longer than most would have

And a season longer than they deserved imo when he probably could have gone elsewhere at the drop of a hat. Not keen on the bloke but at least he showed a bit of loyalty to a club that really didn't deserve any tbh.

Agreed, Rooney as a human being has plenty of flaws but lack of loyalty isn't one of them.
Derby as a club have a trash reputation at the moment ever since they fired that player after a car crash following a night out but kept on and reprimanded the younger players who had resale value.

Keogh was treated disgracefully (sacked? released?) whilst the others including the guy who crashed the car got away with just a fine,

Yeah it was the most classless thing I have ever seen from a club.
Sacked after like 8 years of service with a severe injury which with his age would have left him with no resale value.

Fair play to him though for doing this. Mel Morris is greedy disgrace of a man

£1m a year salary if reports are to be believed (just south of £20k a week)

Rooney jumps ship from HMS Derby and a week later the season books go up in SA1...
